Innovations in Teaching and Learning for Environmental Education

Abstract

Now-a-days, Environmental issues are being incorporated rapidly into educational content to raise various awareness, promotes sustainability and also inspire action that approach is known as Environmental Education.EE focuses on complex relationships and brings innovations between the environment and population for the improvement of student's constant learning through education. The main objective approaches of teaching and learning for EE by highlighting such different strategies which helps to promote engagement, critical thinking as well as actions. Such innovative approaches as experiential learning, technology and gamification, project-based learning, flipped classroom, youth leadership and empowerment, active learning and connecting with EE to social justice too On the other hand, some additional strategies by cultivating environmental responsibility, critical thinking and problem solving as well as collaborating with local communities and organizations etc. So, with the help of those innovating approaches and strategies for teaching and learning can enhance Environmental Education, by inspiring students to become active, informed and responsible stewards for the environment.
